As part of the ongoing commitment to training and developing Radiographer Reporting, InHealth Reporting are proud to have recently presented the InHealth Award for Academic Achievement in Clinical Reporting Adult Chest, to Radha Rai, Reporting Radiographer at London North West NHS Trust.
The Clinical Reporting course is delivered by Canterbury Christ Church University and is approved by the College of Radiographers. The InHealth Award for Academic Achievement has been running for the past 5 years, recognising the hard work and dedication of students who are studying the Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Reporting.
This unique initiative has championed the tenacity and drive of Radiographers, recognising them as displaying the formative characteristics of future clinical and operational leaders. In addition to acknowledging their commitment to a year of academic and clinical study, often fraught with the challenges of balancing full-time practice, study and their home lives; InHealth continues to support their clinical development post-qualification and throughout their seminal years.
Drawing on our access to national clinical expertise via our vast reporting network, InHealth Reporting have delivered ongoing training content, reporting feedback and more, giving them the contemporary tools they need to be both well-equipped and impactful in their new careers.
During the award ceremony, which took place on Monday 13th February at Northwick Park Hospital at London North West NHS Trust in London, the InHealth Award for Academic Achievement was presented to Radha Rai by – James Walters – Chief Operating Officer, Tanjua Khiroya – Head of Diagnostic Imaging & Medical physics at London North West NHS Trust, and Jonny McDaniell – Director of Operations at InHealth Group, who were all there to celebrate Radha’s achievements.
Senior Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University Lisa Pittock wrote: “Radha should be very proud of her achievement in the PgC Clinical Reporting (Adult Chest) course. It requires intensive learning of a complex area of advanced practice and significant dedication to meet all the learning objectives. Radha was awarded distinctions in several of her assignments, showing an excellent grasp of writing at masters’ level.”
